The spoon rest has been hand-thrown on the potters’ wheel and is made from stoneware clay. Glazes have been applied in different layers to achieve a beautiful depth of colour.
Spoon rests serve as a kitchen utensil to place spoons to prevent cooking liquid and food from getting onto the countertops. This handmade item will be a special addition tio your kitchen and add a vibrant spot of colour.

All pieces are food safe and can be cleaned in the dishwasher, although handwashing is kinder and will ensure longevity.

I post pottery second class within the UK and Royal Mail International Tracked (and Signed for if possible) to any other location. I add a small extra charge for packaging materials. I do not earn any money from the postage but just recover my own expenses. As pottery can break easily when not well wrapped, I try to ensure it gets to you safely in one piece. I use biodegradable packing peanuts made from cornstarch that are compostable as they disintegrate in water. If you place multiple orders separately I will try my best to combine shipping when possible and refund you any postage overages.
